Testimonials

Marley settles so well with the Sleep Rumbler, whether we are at home or out. He loves relaxing with the rhythmic motion, I would highly recommend that Sleep Rumbler. It sure beats driving around the block!

Sleep Rumbler made settling Charlotte so much easier. We even used it to change her night waking patterns. She is now one and a half and we still use it if she is unwell or upset. We love Sleep Rumbler and so does Charlotte.

SleepRumbler filmed five babies at one of our busiest resort cafes. We were so impressed with the way the babies settled that we have decided to use them in our resorts. We think Sleep Rumbler is the ideal way to ensure parents and others have a relaxing holiday. We were amazed!

Georgie's is generally a good sleeper but she does have periods of restlessness. I work from home and the SleepRumbler stretches out her sleep and keeps her content which buys me that bit of extra time to get things done.

Marlee settles so well with the Sleep Rumbler, whether we are at home, or out. He loves relaxing with the rythmic motion, which makes life easier. I would highly recommend the Sleep Rumbler. It sure beats driving around the block!

Edie has been a clingy baby. I'm amazed and relieved at how Sleep Rumbler has changed life. The older kids can push the pram over the Sleep Rumbler, to give me some time. I can say goodnight to the older ones and read them a story, while my husband pushes the pram. I feel I have got back a bit of me, and my children have their Mum back. I feel so relieved.

Key search terms: Paediatricians often hear the following from mothers of new born babies:'I can't stop my newborn baby crying. What can I do?' 'Could my baby have colic or reflux? I don't like seeing my baby cry.' What is colic? What is Reflux? Could my baby be colicky or have Reflux? She won't stop crying?' When babies cry inconsolably the result is often a stressed, tired mother. Mothers of colicky or GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux) babies have a particularly hard time as these babies cry persistently. There is only so much pacing, cuddling and entertaining with baby toys we can do before a mother becomes overtired and stressed (baby toys are not effective until around 6 weeks old). There is a strong correlation between mothers of colicky and GERD babies and post natal depression. Depression is understandable in a state of exhaustion and stress. A new mother to be rarely expects the challenges presented as they enter the baby world. The baby world is one of excitement for a mother to be but comes with a number of natural challenges in the 6 months following birth. Whether you would just like to relax your baby prior to self settling or have inconsolable infant (as is quite natural between 4 weeks and 4 months) SleepRumbler can help. What is Sleep Rumbler and 'Why does it settle a crying or restless baby?' Newborn babies and infants under 6 months of age do not cry because they are being manipulative. They have a genuine need for attention. A wet nappy, too hot or cold, hungry or wanting something comforting and familiar. It is perfectly normal for babies between 4 weeks and 4 months to cry up to three hours a day or night. So what is familiar and comforting for a new born? For the answer to this we have to look at where they have come from... What is pregnancy? 'What is pregnancy?' I hear you say...' How can knowing that help?'.... Well, in the womb your baby has been wrapped up in a tight, warm environment. For this we swaddle or wrap our babies for comfort. They have also had the comforting sensation of your heart beating rhythmically on their bottom for the last three months and felt the rhythm of your walking. As a result babies find rhythm comforting . Many parents hold their baby firmly and pat their bottoms, thus naturally replicating this environment. Other find their baby settle well in a car seat. A combination of a snug car seat and the movement of the car feels familiar and comforting , however it is a dangerous time to be driving when we are overtired and stressed. SleepRumbler is the simple solution . Just wrap your baby and put them in the pram. Lay the SleepRumbler on the floor and roll the pram gently over it for a rhythmic movement that can even settle the worst of colic and reflux babies. As your baby settles you can leave them rest and only return to the SleepRumbler if your baby shows signs of restless again. The SleepRumbler has been the sanity of many a new mother and is a great gift for the new mum to be. SleepRumbler is light and portable and will fit under your pram so go and have a coffee with friends and take it with you to make life more relaxing for both yourself and your baby. SleepRumbler is a new and simple innovation in infant settling.  During the first 6 months of life, babies have an amazing transition to make, from the womb to the world. At times this transition can be difficult and a little uncomfortable. Although we can cuddle our baby through their crying and restlessness, there are times when we, and they, need a break.  SleepRumbler offers a solution to provide comfort to your baby and you.

Have a look at how it works...

SleepRumbler can be used to:

·      Comfort your baby into a relaxed state when restless

·      Aid parents in teaching babies to self settle to sleep

·      Assist your baby in getting to sleep

·      Encourage your baby to sleep for longer periods of time

·      Offer a non medicated or complimentary option for setttling when your baby's unwell

·      Assit in calming colicky and refluxy babies

·      Give you a chance to have a cup of tea

SleepRumbler is now being used in a number of birthing and special care units, maternal child health centres and by infant settling and sleep educators. A number of these centres are also recommending the book – Magic and Mayhem of Motherhood. This beautiful handbook for new mothers, on newborn infant care and settling is available on our website.

This fantastic handbook has been reviewed by specialists from the Royal Childrens Hospital, SIDS and Kids, PANDA and the beyondbabyblues team.  Some of these organisations have generously contributing their own material and research, to ensure parents have access to the most upto date information on infant care and settling.

The Magic and Mayhem of Motherhood is a must read, for mothers, fathers, grandparents and primary carers of newborns.

We wish you well on your journey through the magic ahead.
